The Electronics and Tele-communication engineering is one of the fastest developing field. This course has been designed by MSBTE to ensure that, candidates will have opportunities in both hardware as well as software field. This Programme is designed to acquire the knowledge of identification, testing and design of circuits/equipment and technical skills in the field of communication, microprocessor, instrumentation and consumer electronics. It has diverse application areas that have affected our daily life in various ways.
Electronics and Telecommunication is the field, connected not only with radio, telephone, television, microprocessor based systems, etc. which are the nerve centers of most of the industrial operations, but also in military communications, entertainment, domestic utilities etc.
Electronics Department was established in the year 1983. Up to 2002, Industrial Electronics Program was run by the department. From 2002, the department started programs in Electronics and Tele-communication Engineering.
The strength of the department is fully equipped laboratories and well-qualified, experienced as well as skilled staff. The Department is having all advanced electronics equipment and excellent computational software like Xilinx, SPJ etc.
After completion of the Diploma programme, the students may be recruited as Maintenance Engineer, Service Engineer, Quality control Engineer, Technician etc. in various Government and Private Organization like Railway, BSNL, Defense, Meteorology, Heavy Electronics, Power Plants, Medical, Scientific, Home applications, Consumer electronics Industries.
For overall development of the students, seminars, workshops, guest lectures, industrial visits etc. organized by the department. The department has consistently excellent academic results and placements records.
