PSO 2. Equipment and Instruments: Maintain equipment and instruments related to Mechanical Engineering.
PSO 3. Mechanical Engineering Processes: Manage Mechanical engineering processes by selecting and scheduling relevant equipment, substrates, quality control techniques, and operational parameters.
Profile of Department:
The Department of Mechanical engineering was established in the year 1994 with an ambition to develop mechanical engineers i.e technocrats to meet need of technical manpower of nearby industrial sector. The department has intake of 60 students in regular shift and 60 students in second shift from 2008.
The department of Mechanical engineering always strives to develop and our students ranked in MSBTE merit list in the history of the Institution. It has well qualified, dedicated experienced faculty members who devotes towards inculcating knowledge and skills to budding mechanical engineers.
Our department provides all required equipment and latest modern machines as per MSSBTE norms to the students. The department also motivates students for higher studies and lifelong learning.
We also motivate and give exposure to the students to work on the projects and allied activities to make them employable and become future entrepreneurs for self-employment. Competitive edge with Sharing emerging trends and recent developments through the industry, institute interaction give students the confidence to solve real problems in their professional career to handle complex and challenging tasks/projects.
Many pass out diploma engineers of our department are serving in various industries including Government sector, education sector at various job profiles and positions in India and abroad.
