WELCOME TO DEPARTMENT OF SCIENCE & HUMANITIES

It is a great honour for me to render my services as the Coordinator of the Department of Science & Humanities. The Science & Humanities Department is an allied department supporting other core departments at our Polytechnic. It aims to provide a thorough knowledge (both theoretical and practical) on the basis of the introductory courses like English, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics which lay a foundation for their future studies of Engineering. The department offers an encouraging academic environment with a team of highly qualified and experienced faculty members. The Department has well equipped laboratories for Physics, Chemistry and English.

A veritably distinct care is taken towards first year students by providing teacher mentors to help them. They are provided with opportunities to develop their overall personality by participating in various co-curricular and extra-curricular activities. . With a conviction we take actions to develop human values amongst students. The motto of the department is to provide support in shaping students as life-long learners, engineers, entrepreneurs and leaders.
