Introduction

SNJB'S Late Shri D.M. Bhansali English Medium school is one of the leading English Medium School imparting quality educations for our 19 years.
The school consists of a Pre-primary, Primary and Secondary section.

Progress Report

Progress report in Primary section, keep the parents informed of the performance of their children. The reports are used on date indicated by the school.

School Session

The school session is from June to April with two vacations 1) Diwali vacations 2) Summer vacations.

The whole academic year is divided into two terms (Half yearly and annual) with two Unit Tests in both terms.

Assessment

For assessment the school follows the c.c.e pattern that is continuous comprehensive evaluation.

The learner’s performance is assessed continuously over a year. Secondly, evaluation will be done comprehensively and holistically i.e. the teacher will record in learners profile items such as  continuous participation, quality of performance, respect for others opinions creative thinking and so on.

Syllabus

Our school follows the Maharashtra State Board syllabus. The salient features of the syllabus are

Teaching of a particular subject relate to other subjects as well as games and work. The development of critical thinking and reasoning of curiosity, exploration of patterns and abstraction are given more importance.

Apart from the academic and syllabus extra efforts for the overall progress of the students i.e. extra classes for weaker students to bring them in the flow. Teacher made the students to take part in various extra curricular activities.

Teachers are with students during lunch break guiding them about the good health, balanced diet. At the same time they are teaching them the moral values and value of food along with good eating habits.

School has included the special subject ‘Value Education’ for all classes  to inculcate moral values in students.

Not only for the activities or programs but also to improve stage daring of each and every student the stage made available on every Thursday. The teacher encourages all students to come forward and perform.

Interactions of teacher and students

Teachers develop emotional support which helps to develop warm, supportive relationship, experience enjoyment and excitement about learning, feel comfortable in the classroom and experience appropriate independence.

The classroom runs with respect to routines. Students understand the routine and teacher provides activities and directions so that maximum time can be spent in learning activities.
