M. / Community Medicine subject is of utmost importance & throughout the period of study attention of the students is directed towards the importance of preventive medicine & the measures for the community medicine concept, man & society, aim & scope of preventive & social medicine, social causes of disease & social health & diseases. Students has been made conversant with the national health problems of rural as well as urban areas, so that he can be assigned responsibilities to play an effective role not only in the field of curative but also in the preventive & social medicine including family planning. Course Outcome

Community Medicine is the subject concern with publishing, advertising & making propogonda of health information. The students of community medicine must have fieldwork study in order to have a real & actual insight into the prevailing health problems.

They should have opportunities of practical contacts with families and the communities to know their real backgrounds.

They should mentally prepared and motivated to work & serve the masses under condition of existing hardships.

The student should be expert in prescribing homoeopathic medicine for curative .

They should be well versed with national health programs. So that they can be assigned responsibilities to play an effective role not only field of curative but also preventive and social medicine including family planning.

They should be directed towards the importance of preventive medicine and measures for promotion of positive health.

During health teaching program focus should be laid on community medicine concept, man & society, aims and scope of preventive & social medicine, social causes of diseases, social problems, sick related economic factors and environment in health and diseases.

Program Specific Outcome

          While practicing homoeopathy, practioner will follow all the rules & regulation of central council of homoeopathy.

          In every social case practioner will do thorough examination, proper documentation & certification.
