Department of Computer Engineering is prepared to meet the challenges and is playing a leadership role in shaping the education of the 21st Century by providing unique educational and research opportunities in the forefront of Computer Engineering, Information Technology and their applications. The Department of Computer Engineering established in the year 2004 offers UG programs in Computer Engineering.

The students are focused with the use of conceptual understanding of core domain areas in Computing as well as enhanced programming skills propagating their logical abilities. Our aim is to provide our students the all-time learning and leadership skills that facilitate them to cultivate in their professions and move ahead to positions of responsibility by effective Industry-Institute Interaction. The Department has an excellent placement record and the placed students are in prominent IT industries all over the planet.

The Objective of the UG Programme is to: To develop a high level of technical expertise so that students are able to succeed positions in Computer science and engineering practice or research and in other fields they choose to pursue. To develop competency so that students will produce efficient software / hardware design based on sound principles and that consider functionality, efficiency, cost effectiveness and sustainability. To encourage lifelong learning habits among students so that they will easily face day by day challenges. To develop leadership qualities both in their chosen profession and other activities
